Planktos, Inc. to Open Japanese Marketing Affiliate in Autumn, 2005
As of April, 2005 Planktos has reserved office space and begun registration and staff recruitment for an independent marketing affiliate in Kyoto, Japan.
Not only is Kyoto now synonymous with global climate reform, Japan based and certified businesses have preferential access to the nation's vast pools of carbon credit funds. By 2008, Japanese firms, government agencies and trade associations are projected to invest over $2 billion in the carbon offset market.
Planktos Japan will ensure that Planktos technologies and carbon credit products will be serious players in that lucrative bourse.
